Spectrometer VS 140

The VS 140 NIR spectrometer is a high resolution, small, portable, and rugged low cost linear array spectrometer (download datasheet (535kB)). It covers a wavelenghtrange from 800-1700nm. The spectrometer is equipped with a high sensitiv InGaAs PDA (e.g. Hamamatsu G9203-256D, Sensors Unlimited SU256). The device has a high throughput (f/2.4) and very low straylight.

It communicates via true USB 2.0 plug and play interface. The unit is powered by USB (selfpowered hub or pc). Thermoelectric cooling is optional available.

The spectrometer can be operated with the intuitive measuring software VersaSpec (for a demo version see Software Section). The VersaSpec software measures reference, absorbance, transmission/ reflection and allows different spectra calculations. A polynomial fit wavelength linearization is included. An other feature of this software is the real time export to Excel.
