Optional accessories for specbos and spectraval

Each front end accessory changes the sensitivity of the instrument, therefore an individual calibration file is necessary for each accessory. The specbos 1211 can store up to 12 calibration sets. The front ends can be coded that up to three calibration files will be selected automatically if the related accessory is attached (the fourth is the calibration of the instrument without accessory).

Spectraval 1501 and spectraval 1511 has an electronic sensor and can detect up to 8 accessories after calibration.

Beam shaping optics
It is not necessary to adjust the optics of specbos or spectraval in Radiance mode, the measuring spot is sharp at any distance and the viewing angle is always 1.8°. If a specific measuring spot diameter is required, this can be set by selecting the appropriate measuring distance. In some cases this is not possible due to space limitations, e.g. in production measurements or in special set ups. Therefore, different beam shaping optics are available.
