In January 1998, the company “JETI Technische Instrumente GmbH” was founded by three former Zeiss employees with the aim to develop, produce and sell spectroscopic equipment under the slogan “Economic and easy to use”.
The mission statement of JETI is to create spectrometric solutions from components to systems. Therefore, the main fields of the firm activity are optics, electronics, mechanics, and software development. So JETI can offer measuring systems developed “under one roof”.
The company wants to follow the traditions of spectroscopy in Jena, as the city's history and development is strongly influenced by optics. Ernst Abbe, Carl Zeiss and Otto Schott created the foundations of modern optics in Jena and developed many optical instruments.
Currently JETI has 20 employees and the corporation is in the largest industrial area of Jena, which is located in the south of the city. All our products are made in Germany. JETI forges a close cooperation to many institutes, universities, and other companies.
We are constantly working to improve our products. The latest knowledge and processes are incorporated into product development. Driven by the requirements of our customers, we will continue to offer state-of-the-art spectroradiometers, spectrometers and readout electronics in the future. JETI will continue to stand for spectrometric solutions from components to systems.
