spectraval 1501-NIR

Spectroradiometer for VIS and NIR

Please note that all models of spectraval 1501 are no longer available since January 2025. The new specbos 2501  models cover all spectraval 1501 applications.

JETI spectraval 1501-NIR extends the device wavelength range from VIS only to 380 to 1000 nm. It is a compact spectrophotometer and spectroradiometer for the spectral measurement of Radiance. The spectroscopy instrument can be used for applications as remote sensing, night vision projection screens and the measurement of NIR sources.
All other parameters as sensitivity, measuring mode (Radiance), viewing angle (2.1°) and optical resolution remain the same as of the standard device.

Highlights:

  • Compact solution
  • Fast measurement
  • Measurement in Radiance (basic configuration) and Irradiance mode (diffusor required)
  • Precise results due to high quality spectrograph and NIST traceable calibration
  • Comfortable handling due to Bluetooth interface
  • Convenient adjustment due to laser target circle
  • Radiometric software JETI LiVal is included in the standard scope of delivery

All accessories of spectraval 1501-NIR are coded. The software switches to the related measuring mode and the appropriate calibration data will be used when an accessory was attached to the device.

Add-on optics for different measuring geometries
JETI offers a variety of add-on optics to achive certain different measuring geometries.

Standard diffusor
spectraval 1501-NIR measures in spectral Radiance mode. It is possible to convert it into a spectral Irradiance meter by attaching a diffusor.

90° diffusor
The standard diffusor of the device acts in line to the device. If the Illuminance at a low height above a surface needs to be measured, then the 90° diffusor can be applied. It is also available with attenuation filters to extend the Illuminance measuring range.

In axis remote diffusor
If the measurement needs to be done in locations with limited space conditions then the remote diffusor can be used. It is a diffusor which is coupled to the spectraval device by an optical fiber bundle. The measurement is done in axis to the fiber bundle. Different fiber lengths are available.

90° remote diffusor
If the measurement needs to be done under limited space conditions and the in axis fiber coupled diffusor is not suited, then the 90° fiber coupled diffusor can be applied. Different fiber lengths are available.

Neutral density filter
spectraval 1501-NIR can measure up to 100 000 cd/m² (typical white LED spectrum). An additional neutral density filter allows to shift the measuring range towards higher Luminance levels.

Battery charger

Bluetooth USB adapter

Carrying case/ bag

Protective cap

Straylight protection tube
The straylight protection tube prevents the influence of surrounding light on Radiance measurements. It is mainly used for display measurements. The fixed length of the tube is 16 cm.
